Pag ibig Contribution Table 2017
Eligibility to Pag-Ibig
All employees who are covered by the Social Security System (SSS) by law and voluntary Pag-ibig members, provided that actual membership in the SSS shall not be a condition precedent to the mandatory coverage in the Pag-ibig Fund. It shall include, but are not limited to:
- An employee- permanent, temporary, or provisional and not over sixty (60) years old;
- Household helper who earns at least Php1,000.00 a month.
- Filipino seafarer upon the signing of the standard employment certificate with the labor agency, and foreign ship owner acting as the employer;
- Self employed individual earning at least Php1,000.00 a month and not over sixty (60) years old;
- Expatriate not over sixty (60) years old and is compulsorily covered by the Social Security System (SSS), no matter the citizenship, regardless of duration and type of employment, and the whatever the method of compensation. With absence of an explicit exemption from SSS, the said expatriate, upon assumption of office, shall be covered by Pag-ibig Fund. Expatriates are foreign citizens living and working in the Philippines;
- All employees covered by Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) by law;
- Uniformed members in the Philippines- AFP, BFP, BJMP, and PNP;
- OFWs
Pag-Ibig Contribution Table
Shown above is the Pag-Ibig Contribution table. Note that Monthly compensation at Php1500.00 and above will have an employer compensation share of 2%. Employee share when monthly compensation is Php1,500 is 1%. Most of Filipino employees enjoy monthly compensation of more than Php1500.00, hence they contribute at 2% which is also equal to the employer share at 2%.
