Wealth of Rural and Urban Worker Class

Working in the rural and urban areas has been a consideration to many. Many believe that working the the urban areas provides more opportunity and growth for their personal career and financial stability. Urban areas are more populated and hence, the service sector is the most common source of wealth for these working classes. Agriculture cannot be done in the urban, since land use is already planned for commercial and industrial purposes. Buildings dominate the scenery, as skyscrapers house offices and commercial establishments in the conduct of business, trade and commerce. It is quite important to revisit and contemplate on the wealth of rural and urban worker class.

Working class is the backbone of the economy. They provide the human capital that supports the industries and sectors in a country. Given the opportunities of working to urban areas, is it really a good decision to move to the urban area for good? Jobs are available in the urban, which is why school is projected to sending new graduates to offices as a staff to eventually become a manager. Leaving live in the urban setting is costly, specially if there is no property to move to. The result is renting, which is subject to a hefty cost to the renter due to high cost of living that makes homeowners to set those rates. Going back to the wealth topic, living in the urban may seem as a lucrative idea. However, if we look closely a typical employee has to continue working to pay for the rent, their food, their expenses, and so on. Without money, no one can afford living in the city. It is important that the work become stable and for the worker to be financially stable.

Comparing to a rural worker which do jobs in areas where opportunities are present gets a compensation lower than the urban rates. However, if they leave on their own property as oppose to the urban worker that rents, the stability can be seen on the rural worker version of living. Agriculture is a viable option for a land owner. Food supply is set depending on the abundance of harvest and its market value. It can be sold based on prevailing prices which are lower compare to the high price difference of products sold in urban markets. The high rates again reflect the cost of living expense due to dependence on transportation of goods and delivery of services by the urban workers.

Life in the rural might look slow and lacking of urban progressiveness, but the stability it provides reflects he choice of leaving relatives, family or friends to leave an urban life that entails effort to become sustainable. In the end, the convenience of urban life boils away with loss of ability to work or economic slowdown that affects the service sector that can be caused by various global and local factors.
